Coldplay

Coldplay is a British band of alternative rock formed in London in 1996. The group is integrated by Chris Martin (voice, keyboard, guitar), Jon Buckland (principal guitar), Guy Berryman (down electrical) and Will Champion (battery, choirs and other instruments). The Coldplay's first works did that the band was compared repeatedly by artists like Oasis, Radiohead, INXS, U2 and Travis.3 Reached the international success with the launch of his simple "Yellow", followed by his album début, Parachutes (2000), which was nominated to the Prizes Mercury. His second album, To Rush of Blood to the Head (2002) gained multiple prizes, Included that of Album of the Year according to the weekly NME. In spite of that his third album, X*Y (2005) it did not cause so much enthusiasm, it had equally a positive receipt. The fourth album of study of the band, the Life Lives or Death and All His Friends (2008) was produced by Brian Eno and generated excellent critiques, managing to receive nominations to the prizes Grammy and another class of homenajes. Coldplay has sold internationally 50 millions of copias After Parachutes's launch, the band received the influence of other artists, such as Kate Bush, George Harrison, 6 and Muse7 in To Rush of Blood to the Head, Johnny Cash in X*Y8 and Blur and Arcadian Fire in Lives through the Vida.9 Coldplay it has been always a defending active group of several political and social reasons as Oxfam Make's campaign Trade Fair and International Amnesty.
